Medical therapy
There are many medications to treat the various conditions of the heart. Some treatments open up the heart arteries and are used to treat angina. Others allow the heart to pump more effectively in heart failure. Some medications are used to prevent further problems in the future such as Aspirin which has been shown to reduce the risk of further heart attacks.
